संजय उवाच :

दृष्ट्वा तु पाण्डवानीकं व्यूढं दुर्योधनस्तदा ।
आचार्यमुपसंगम्य राजा वचनमब्रवीत् ॥2॥

Transliteration:

Sanjaya uvacha:

Drishtva tu Pandavanikam vyudham Duryodhanas tada
Acharyam upasangamya raja vachanam abravit

Marathi Meaning (सोप्या भाषेत अर्थ)

संजय म्हणतो —
त्या वेळी राजा दुर्योधनाने पांडवांची नीट मांडलेली सेना पाहून आपल्या गुरु द्रोणाचार्यांकडे जाऊन बोलणे केले।
या श्लोकात दुर्योधनाची मानसिक अवस्था दिसते।
पांडवांची मजबूत सेना पाहून तो चिंतित होतो आणि लगेच आपल्या गुरुंकडे सल्ल्यासाठी जातो।
हे आपल्याला शिकवते की संकट किंवा स्पर्धा पाहिली की मनात भीती निर्माण होते, पण त्यावेळी योग्य मार्गदर्शन घेणे आवश्यक असते।

Hindi Meaning (सरल अर्थ)

संजय ने कहा —
उस समय राजा दुर्योधन ने पांडवों की सेना को अच्छी तरह सजी हुई देखकर अपने गुरु द्रोणाचार्य के पास जाकर ये वचन कहे।
इस श्लोक में दुर्योधन की मानसिक स्थिति दिखाई देती है।
वह पांडवों की सेना को देखकर चिंतित हो जाता है और तुरंत अपने गुरु के पास जाता है।
यह दर्शाता है कि जब भी हम किसी चुनौती को देखते हैं, तो हमारे अंदर असुरक्षा और भय उत्पन्न हो सकता है।

King Duryodhana, after seeing the army of the Pandavas arranged in military formation,
approached his teacher Dronacharya and spoke the following words.
